- Only open your mouth to make things better

What does this mean for leadership?
We are sometimes stuck with a view of leadership that comes from the ‘great man’ era. Oratory was crucial back then but things have changed.
To draw on a dog-eared but useful saying: ‘you have two ears, two eyes and one mouth and you should use them in that proportion’.
