I have broad experience in Learning, Change and Talent positions in corporate organisations and twenty years of experience designing and delivering learning programs and managing learning operations. In my first management position at the age of 22, I led a team of 10, an experience that ignited my passion for leading teams and developing capability. In my early career, I facilitated operational and technical training before gaining experience in management development, behavioral change, OD, change management, employee engagement, performance management, and talent especially high potential and early careers programs. I have worked in financial services, energy, hospitality, and technology sectors giving me rich insight into leading the talent and L&D function in a global corporate. This informs my partnering approach for leading some of LIW’s client relationships. In my 20 years of experience as a facilitator and coach, I have delivered hundreds of programs working with Graduates, first-line leaders, middle managers, senior leaders, intact teams, and at conference events. I have worked with participants in some of Australia’s best-known organisations in technology, retail, and pharma.

I love creating business impact through learning experiences that engage, challenge, and support leaders. In group work, it is such a privilege to witness the connections that are made between people as they learn together and one of my strengths is in creating a space in which busy leaders can be vulnerable and authentic and build new relationships. I believe deeply in the power of coaching (teams and individuals) to raise self-awareness and inspire action.

My approach is informed by behavioural psychology and humanistic and positive psychology approaches. I have a fundamental belief that humans can develop, improve, and grow and that happiness is important. Each of us has a right to be happy and fulfilled in our work. I use positive change strategies that reinforce choice and growth and are underpinned by humanistic and positive psychology. Both have collaboration as a foundational element, and I use this in my facilitation and coaching by drawing attention to the organaisational system and how collaborative relationships can help us achieve our goals, positively affect culture, and be more resilient. From a behavioural perspective, I think behavioral modifications are most effective in producing change and that environment is a big factor in how people behave and perform in their work. We are all influenced by the environment and often influential over it particularly when we act collectively.

I moved halfway around the world to work with LIW! I still remember the moment a friend described an LIW program to me thinking that it sounded like the most impactful and purposeful learning experience I'd ever come across. I want to transform people's experience of work, and I believe leadership is how we achieve that. Then I met the team and realised I would learn A LOT and enjoy my work. I wasn't wrong.

Participants often describe me as having a dynamic and warm style that instantly puts them at ease. They appreciate how I easily connect and quickly build meaningful relationships and that I create a supportive environment where they feel comfortable exploring and learning at their own pace.
