With a diverse background spanning multiple industries, I bring a wealth of experience in sales, leadership, and organisational development to the table. My journey began in the financial services sector, where I honed my skills in sales and sales leadership with American Express Corporate Card, serving top 500 companies. Transitioning to the life insurance industry, I further solidified my expertise as a sales leader, navigating the dynamic landscape of insurance markets. Drawing from over a decade of experience, I transitioned into the realm of training solutions, specialising in leadership, sales, and customer service. During this time, I had the privilege of selling tailored programs to top 500 companies, assuming roles such as Team Leader and Regional Manager within a prominent global training organisation. For the past two decades, I have immersed myself in consulting and facilitating leadership and sales leadership programs for both global corporations and large Australian firms.
I enjoy working with Leaders at all levels of an organisation, but really relish the chance to work with First and Second level leaders, to help them make the transition from Individual Contributor to Leader of others. Many such leaders may have risen to mid or senior levels without the right mindset shift and skill development, so also helping them to reflect and reset how they create an Operating Rhythm that prioritises people development.
In my work, I embrace a holistic approach that integrates mindset, skillset, and operating rhythm to empower leaders to reach their full potential. I firmly believe that mindset precedes skillset, and thus, cultivating the right mindset is paramount for effective leadership. Through my facilitation and consulting practice, I focus on helping leaders develop a growth-oriented mindset that fosters resilience, adaptability, and continuous learning. To ensure that these mindsets are effectively embedded, I advocate for the establishment of a robust operating rhythm within organisations. This involves creating structured processes and routines that support the consistent application of learned skills and behaviors in day-to-day operations. Additionally, I draw upon insights from human behavior and psychological research, including neuroscience, to deepen leaders' understanding of their own motivations and behaviors.
