I have thousands of hours of facilitation and training experience, across 25 countries and organisations in Banking, Tech, Health Sciences, Luxury Retail, professional services, FMCG, construction and the Public Sector. I have gained considerable insight into the pressures being faced by senior business leaders, and exposure to a wide portfolio of approaches and strategies employed by some of the most successful leaders in the marketplace. I have a background in business development and management consulting, based in Sydney and London. Before starting my own business a number of years ago, I was in a Principal Consulting role for a consultancy that has since been acquired by EY.
My work is unlocking the full-potential of individuals, teams and organisations. I love working with teams to help them reach high performance, and developing the skills of key leaders so they can have greater impact. I am most passionate about driving individual and organisational performance through helping people have better conversations.
In my approach to leadership development, I'm guided by a set of core principles that shape my philosophy:
Understand before seeking to influence: I believe in the power of collecting the dots before connecting them. Understanding the nuances of a situation is crucial before attempting to influence positive change.
Big gains come from small improvements: I emphasise the significance of incremental progress. Small, consistent improvements often lead to significant and sustainable advancements.
Almost all change starts with a conversation: Recognising the transformative power of dialogue, I believe that meaningful change often initiates through open and constructive conversations.
A basic understanding of psychology and neuroscience is incredibly powerful: Leveraging insights from psychology and neuroscience proves to be a potent tool in unlocking the untapped potential within individuals. Understanding the intricacies of the mind allows for more effective and tailored development strategies.
Organisations will never have better cultures than that of their top team: I acknowledge the pivotal role of leadership in shaping organisational culture. A positive and aligned top team sets the tone for a thriving workplace culture.
Behaviour follows mindset: I operate on the principle that mindset plays a fundamental role in shaping behaviour. Fostering a positive and growth-oriented mindset is key to achieving lasting behavioural change.
The things worth having don't come easy: I embrace the reality that valuable outcomes require effort and commitment. I encourage a resilient and determined mindset to overcome challenges on the path to meaningful achievements.
