The challenge
LIW’s partnership with the City of Sydney was established in 2009 when we were engaged in facilitating several workshops across the entire executive and senior leader population to co-create and birth what then became the innovative vision for Sydney to be a “Green, Global & Connected City.”
The solution
The initial exercise lasted three months and required strong collaboration between multiple stakeholders, both within and external to the Council. It was revisited annually, with LIW facilitating over 60 stakeholders' development of their organisational and departmental strategic plans.
The Impact
Through this process, the leadership team developed their “10 targets for 2030,” which became the strategic roadmap for the City of Sydney over the next four years.
